The process

From first question to daily teacher action

Scholargleam runs short adaptive question sets, maps each student's prerequisite dependencies, and delivers a focused morning summary that tells you exactly who needs five minutes of your time before today's lesson.

Step by step

How the four phases connect

Each phase feeds the next. The diagnostic builds the map, the map guides the summary, the summary drives the teacher action.

01

Adaptive diagnostic questions

Students answer a short set of questions each morning or at the start of class. The question selector adapts based on previous responses, converging on exactly which prerequisite concepts are uncertain rather than asking everything every day.

5-8 questions per session, not 30
Standards-aligned items for grades 4-10 math
Works in any browser, no app install
02

Prerequisite dependency mapping

Responses flow into a standards-aligned dependency graph. The system traces backwards from each wrong answer to find which earlier concept is the actual root cause, not just which question the student missed.

Maps across 400+ K-8 math standards
Identifies root-cause gaps, not surface errors
Each student gets their own dependency tree
03

Teacher dashboard and daily summary

Every morning the dashboard shows which students have critical gaps, what those gaps are, and a simple suggested intervention. No data-wrangling, no pivot tables, no manual scoring.

Daily email summary or in-app dashboard
Prioritized by urgency, not alphabetical order
CSV export for grade-book integration
04

Targeted student practice paths

For programs that want it: the platform generates a short targeted practice sequence for each student based on their identified gap. Students work through it independently, and the map updates as gaps close.

Practice aligned to the root-cause gap, not the surface topic
Closes the loop back to the daily teacher view

Fits your setup

Works alongside the tools you already use

Scholargleam does not replace your LMS. On the School plan it integrates with Canvas and Google Classroom so assignments and roster data stay in sync.
